After 2 days of rest I was afraid of permanent damage (hurt joints heal, but you never know what too much rest will do to you) so I dropped by the box Tuesday morning without any specific plan.
I started with attempting double unders which went surprisingly well. While I have yet to do multiple double unders in sequence, my new PR is 7 double unders interrupted by singles. It looked like shit with me almost falling after every double under, but PRs are not supposed to be pretty.
I followed it up with some deadlifts (in retrospect probably a bad idea). Tried and failed at what would've been a new PR at 180, but 170 felt reasonable. Hopefully next time...
There used to be a show called Drew Carey Show where the main character had a side project where they made a coffee-beer concoction. When I saw that Taphouse had something like that on tap (20 on the first picture, in the glass on the last picture; the middle picture is 15, a nice but not very memorable Session IPA) I had to drop by after work. It does taste and smell a bit like coffee which is definitely different, especially for an IPA.

A liquid poem to the glory of the hop!
Skipped crossfit this morning since my elbows are fucked up. If I ever try to do rope climbs again, just shoot me.
But every cloud has a silver lining. Got to the office early due to lack of crossfit and left early. So I had time to drop by Bishops Arms at Gustav Adolfs Torg before Toastmasters' meeting. The dialogue with the bartender was something like this:
Me: I am trying to choose an IPA(there were at least 3 different on tap)
Bartender: Are you looking for a nice and friendly one or a mean bastard?
Me: A mean bastard.
Bartender: Then you have to have a Ruination IPA
Me: Well, if you say so...
Ruination IPA is one of the meanest (that's usually at least interesting if you like extremely hoppy beer, but a bad thing if you are not used to a high amount of hops) IPAs I've had so it was a very good choice.

Changed url
I just updated the URL to blog.rozenblioum.se This might be a bad thing. If it is, tell me.
The old URL still works and will keep doing that.

Hardcore heavy as f*uck wod
As I frequently say, Mia looks nice and friendly, but she is pure evil which can be exemplified by today's "Hardcore heavy as fuck wod" (you could argue that I should've figured out that it would be hell from the name, but I'd rather you didn't) that we had as a celebration of Mia moving to Dubai.
Anyways, the wod was pure hell despite very aggressive scaling and the fact that my elbows were fucked up from yesterday's rope climbs didn't help.
The day got much better after a nap and an Arizona Beast from Amager. Arizona Beast is yet another IPA variation. This time it's an Oatmeal IPA which gives a slightly heavier taste than regular IPAs. Very nice although my standard complaint is still valid: More Hops please!

I dropped...
..the ball(literally) this morning causing 30 burpees each for the four of us. That resulted in this comment directed at me: "you don't deserve any beer tonight". Since I always follow that kind of instructions I had to show up at Bishop during the afternoon rather than wait until the evening.
Today I got an opportunity to sample The Purpose of Grapefruit from All In Brewing. While I usually avoid fruity beers, fruity IPAs are frequently quite nice since the bitterness balances out the sourness quite well. This one was no exception.

Hello World!
Due to popular demand I decided to create this blog which will cover two awesome topics. You might be able to guess which by looking at the url. The interesting question is whether I'll manage to be active here....
